Ruffle bell sleeves lois opoku lisforlois
Hey Guys,

It's a wonderful Saturday and initially I wanted to go shoot some more content for the blog today. But let's just I say I had one of the most random Berlin nights last night and I'm still feeling the aftermath of an excessive party night. Haven't had so much fun in a while. Berlin's randomness that can make or break a night is kind part of its magic.
I'm off to the cinema to watch Beauty and the Beast. Can't wait to see Emma Watson bring Belle to live!

Go enjoy the sun, your day and have a wonderful weekend!

Fur schnürtop lois opoku lisforlois
Hey guys,

It's finally spring, the days are seemingly getting (not really) but occasionally the sun comes out to play in Berlin. Soon spring will be in full bloom and I'll be able to shed all those layer that kept me warm. I found this coat I bought maybe 3 or 4 years ago at Zara in my closet. I mnust admit I have a lot of clothes I buy during Sale season and end up at the back of my closet after of month of excessively wearing them. I've kind of fallen for this fur ball again, although it makes me look somewhat like a bird haha! The rest of the pieces I'm wearing are all sale finds, the strappy top is from last year Zara, the bag I got in January - also Zara. The pants I found at Bershka and I must admit I was surprised at the perfect fit. As you know my booty-to-hips ratio is not made for the European market aka "slim thick with your cute ass"-Problem. Only Levis introduced pants made for my shape - the Levis Curve ID (I'm a bold curve), but Levis is costly and the wash I have I don't wear that often.
These pants from Bershka fit like Curve IDs. My shoes were my biggest steal 12,99 Mango.. uh yes?!

Good night kids!

Hey guys,

Ok so right now I'm in a deep hate-love relationship with Instagram and it feels like it's getting worse every time I open the app. But one thing I will forever be grateful for on Instagram is that fact that there are so many great brands and creators and people and places and hotspots to discover. Instagram is like a global hub of hidden gems once you dig deeper than your shitty "explore page" spammed with dumbass (sexist/I'm being cheated on/wtf even is your message/ completely wrong ideals) "comedy" videos or naked botox ass face girls and unrealistic #bodygoals.
This is how I recently discovered Likalla and immediately fell in love with the brand created by Lisa and Katrin.

Hey Guys,

I'm back with my final look from Fashion Week. Unfortunately I ended picking up my brother from hospital instead of running around my last 2 shows because he had an accident, so I didn't actually get to wear my last look to Berlin Fashion Week. But since I had been looking forward to this look the entire week and it had been one of my very few planned looks I had to shoot this look anyway afterwards as I was and have been dying to share this one with you. It's super dark for a typical "me" look. I usually go with colorful choices, but sometimes, every now and then I feel like exploring my dark side.

Blue coat Proenza Schouler ps1 Lois opoku
Hey Guys,

Finally sharing my 3rd Berlin Fashion Week look. I changed it a little from how I wore it during my shows, because I was in a rush that morning and picked the first thing that I could grab. I changed from black leather pants and sneakers into these fun pants Storets paired with fishnet socks and patent leather pumps (on sale for less than 20€) - my fav combination rn! I can't get over my new Proenza Schouler bag and you'll probably seeing a lot on this blog. If you want I can write up a little review about this bag and some tips about buying your first designer bag.
Let me know what you think about my look. Are you into bright colored coats for winter?

Hey Guys,

Puff jackets seem to everywhere ever since the red jacket from Balenciaga emerged on their runway and ad campaign - Balenciaga basically declared them the IT fashion statement piece of the season. I too have fallen for the trend even though Grace kept stopping me from buying them - literally. She made me hand the Zara one I spotted back. (Tipp: Zara is always quick to copy fashion trends, styles and designer It pieces. If you can't afford the real deal, take the copy. After all they say "Fake it til you make." -  Although personally I'm not a big advocate for copycats.) Thank god for Grace, because a little later I found the perfect one at Bershka for 16€!

Lois opoku style berlin fashion week
Hey guys!

How has your week been so far? I'm still procession what's been going on in the bloggersphere right now. Every season after Fashion Week its the same old story, a bunch of "Why I hate Fashion Week"- post surface right along with "Why I hate people that write about why they hate Fashion Week" counterparts. While there may be some good arguments on both sides it gets boring. It's the same old shit. I was ready to brace myself for the wave of those again, not bothering to take a stand on my own, because what I'll say has been said numerous times in rephrases.

Ivy revel lisforlois
New Year, New beginnings..

I hope you've all had a good start into the new year and Christmas with your family was good! I hope you wore your sparkly dresses and celebrated the arrival of a new year, a new chapter with a bang! I tried to go on a social media detox, but it didn't quite go as planned. I did retreat and posted as good as nothing on my social platforms, but at night when I couldn't sleep I would scroll through Instagram, which really wasn't the point of my detox at all. I did however take some time to recharge and shift my focus. What do I want in life? Where should my blog go?
I'm itching to create, grow and evolve.

I've come up with a few goals I've set for my blog this year. Here they are:

puma footlocker lois opoku
Every year the same old story: Foot Locker's Week of Greatness. It's a become a tradition here on the blog and I never get tired of it. Foot Locker releases a crazy bunch of super cool sneakers and I get to highlight my favorite here on the blog. This time I chose the Puma Fierce that I styled up in four completely different ways. Can we just take a minute to acknowledge the fact that Puma has made a major comeback this year? Ever since Rihanna took over it's been going uphill. Well played Puma, well played. Of course Foot Locker released a few new Pumas (like the Puma Fierce I'm wearing) during Week of Greatness, along with some sick Jordans and Adidas NMDs, some in exclusive colour ways to Foot Locker.
In honour of Week of Greatness I decided to show you 4 different ways I'd rock sneakers. Here is my week in sneakers lookbook. Friday's we wear high heels to party :P
If you know me, you know I hardly ever wear heels IRL. Nothing goes over the comfort of a sneaker..
But keep reading to see the looks! :D

Hey Guys,

How have you been? I just got from Africa and I have to admit the climate change was brutal. So brutal I got sick the minute I stepped of the plane in Amsterdam. Literally. However I brought the African sun with me in my heart which is why I'm sharing one more summery look with you. Tomorrow I'll share my insta diary from Ghana (you can see a preview of it right now on Instagram @LoisOpoku - check out my hashtag #lisforloisGHANA and then I'll share one more summer look and some more snaps from Ghana. Then I'll finally come to terms with winter and you'll get to see my winter wardrobe this year.
But for now I'll be happy with my summer look. Maybe it puts a smile on your face, maybe it'll make you miss summer as bad as me or maybe you're just wondering why I'm not in sync with the weather in Europe right now.
But somewhere on this globe it's still summer so.. (Ghana *cough*)

Can't believe another year has passed. Time is at such a speed right now, I feel like life is rushing me by. I'm turning 23 tomorrow so I decided to post a little wish list here and the blog. Oh and make sure to stop by tomorrow for a little giveaway!
The Gucci SoHo keychain will be a gift to myself, where as the DionysusPrincetown slippers and boots will be on my list of things I'm saving for this year and the Gucci belt probably my next purchase. I hate backpacks but I'm obsessed with this cute little bag from Zara, as it can be worn like my dream bag from MCM - the bebe boo.  The MAC wants are my beauty wishes that I stumbled across whilst out shopping with my friend Grace. The purple matte liquid lipstick is on my wish list since last week when I saw my friend Julie rocking it (you probably saw that on Snapchat!). As for chokers? I'm obsessed and I want all three packs I spotted at Zara plus very much the Acne choker copy that seems to be sold out everywhere already.. oh well

So yeah these are a list of material things I could come up with to wish for my birthday. But I'm not really the person to wish for things.. It doesn't really matter what it is you gift me and I mean it when I say "I don't mind at all.", after being asked what it is I want. Fact is I will most probably even forget what it is you gave me for my birthday (Sorry!). But what I don't forget is the feeling I had in that very moment realizing you thought of me, you took your time to get me something and that smile and excitement on your face being happy to gift me something..
As for non-material wishes.. My biggest wish is that I find my smile again I lost in the last couple of months. I wish to I find my way, place and purpose in this world. But above all I wish that all lost and broken souls find someone or something to mend their heart. I wish for peace and a little less pain in this world and to never have to see someone I care about be so self-destructive and break anything and anyone good they've got left in the process.

lois opoku levis 505c fashion week party lisforlois
What's up guys?
How have you been? It's been super quiet here lately, but I'm back motivated as ever! I finally got my hands on all my fashion week material I shot together with Phillip, which is why I'm ending the drought here on my blog with my first event from fashion week - the Levis 505c launch party that took place on the first night after my first shows right at the Ramones museum. I made a quick outfit change somewhere in the city and opted for my new 505c of course. It's a very loose fit/straight cut kinda jeans that kinda of looks like a hybrid of a mom jeans and boyfriend jeans. Super casual.
But you can dress it up any way - casual, edgy (which I tried here), you name it and go for it..
The event itself was nice. Berlin's fashion crowd gathered in the middle of the street, people enjoying a beer, a drink or two and street food served right of a food truck whiles polas were being made to save all the memories of that night.
I took home two polaroids, two memories caught on film.

It was a good start to fashion week..

Lois Opoku striped dress OOTD lisforlois
About two weeks ago I had the pleasure of having my first BBQ of the season with Timberland in celebration of their new model the #TBLboatShoes, a loafer made for summer. The location was beautiful, the BBQ delicious, as we seemed to float on the Spree. The platform we were situated on did. Or so it felt at least. You could hear the gentle waves crash against the platform. It all looked beautiful and somewhat idyllic as if stolen from a still painting. It was almost perfect; had it not been for the chilling breeze.
But you know me. It takes little put a smile on my face and wrap me up in a sense of content. And so all it took was a face of a good friend I hadn't seen in a while. Beautiful jolly Nastya. Plus there was good food. Good drinks - double plus. Some more familiar faces - add another plus. A well decorated location that could have easily been a memory of something I might have seen on Pinterest while browsing inspiration or mistaken for an illusion, but the cold breeze I felt, made sure to remind me it was all quite real. A lovely PR Team - yet another plus.
Besides eating and chatting and discovering the latest Timberland addition, we got to choose and customize our own pair of Timberland Boat Shoes. Tucked in a little shack sat a lady patiently stitching on all our customizations chosen from various boxes of colorful patches in comic style.

I picked out a pair in baby blue and kept the customization to a minimum. Simply a little lightening in the right far corner of my right shoe. Would you laugh if I told you it nearly took me an hour to decide what to put on my shoes just to go with a little lightning tucked away in a corner? You would, probably shake your head smirking.
The shoes are made of the softest leather. And they feel comfortable.
Thank you so much Timberland for the lovely evening and BBQ session.
Thank you for the shoes!

What's up guys?
Just wanted to show you my final look for Fashion Week. I've got to be honest, I'm feeling completely demotivated penning this post. I do not know what words, what topic, what message, to choose to accompany this post. In fact I should just leave this text field empty. But it would be a mirror of the complete opposite of what's going on in my head.
Unclear. Unfocused. Uncontrolled.
Ironically this post seems unclear, unfocused, uncontrolled..

I think I've never been in such a confused state of mind. Emotionally, mentally.

Mein Leben steht am Rande des Umbruchs, wie der Cursor am Ende einer Zeile.

I'm listening to Xavier Naidoo's greatest hits right now (if you don't speak German - imagine the most sentimental life will go on, you're not alone, I love you more than words can describe - love and motivation songs wrapped in the most eloquent words one can imagine accompanied by the most beautiful harmonies and melodies..) Yeah that's me right now.. I'm also wearing sweatpants. King Karl would infamously say I've lost complete control of my life. I think he is right.

You probably just clicked this post because you're interested in what I'm wearing...
Scroll down.

Lois Opoku bomber jacket Streetstyle fashion week lisforlois
For my third look for Fashion Week I decided to go a little more.. well a bit on the boys side. I've been inspired a lot lately by one of my fav instagirls Aleali May. She's been wearing a lot of oversize bomber jackets in very androgynous cuts, mainly by my Adidas fam or Y3, which is a high end label from Adidas by Yohji Yamamoto. Her style itself is quite androgynous and she's rocking it.
I played with the masculine silhouette of this huge bomber coat I stumbled across on ASOS, mixing it with a sexy mini skirt to show off my legs, but kept the rest of my skin tucked away in a turtleneck. The details: tassels to keep it all a little fun.
Was I cold, you wonder. No, I was driven everywhere that day. Haha! Perks of staying with the girls of Blogger Apartment! (I did however make the biggest mistake of my life. Thinking that I'll be driven everywhere, I wouldn't need a pair of changing shoes i.e. flat shoes. No. Don't ever leave the house without a pair of flat shoes. EVER. Unless you are Mehtap. Then you are another type of Queen. You probably heard me whine like a pussy on Snapchat every second snap - add me LoisOpoku)
The top bun is very "every dumb bitch on social media ever"; Granted.
But.. sorry not sorry.
What do you think of this look?

Lois Opoku fashion Week Streetstyle Grey Coat Leather culottes lisforlois
This is by far my favorite look of this season's Fashion Week. I wore it on the last day, so yeah technically this is day 4, but my following fashion week posts are in no particular order which is why I'm just going to be labeling as they come to keep things in order here on the blog.

As I said this was my favorite look, mainly because I got to wear this stunning jacket by designer VANESSAMORIN. I stumbled across her label through my homie Jean-Claude's Instagram and immediately fell in love with some of her key pieces. We got in contact and she allowed me to style this piece to fashion week. It was perfect for layering while still being the center of attention of the entire look. VANESSAMORIN is a Munich based Designer and manufactures her pieces in Europe. She even worked for Parisian fashion house Damir Doma after design school, but her label itself is what I would call clean and contemporary, casual yet luxurious.  "A woman wearing VANESSAMORIN appreciates and never loses the lightness of being."
Go check out her amazing label. I'm keeping an eye out for her as I can't wait to see how her label will evolve over the next years.

 Lois Opoku Christmas lisforlois

Hope you enjoyed the festive seasons with your family, friends and loved ones and christmas time was good to you. Yesterday we celebrated my dads birthday and christmas of course. We had some long time family friends over and their kids and it basically was a full house. I celebrate like the British - on December 25th. But that didn't stop my phone from blowing up on Christmas Eve with texts and love notes from my friends, because they do it the German way - on Decmber 24th.
On Christmas Eve my family went to Church and I had a blast (my snapchat followers seemed to have had too! But the children's choir performance and the Stomp The Yard meets Step Up 2 The Streets Church rendition was quite entertaining! The kiddies funny actually. Add me: LoisOpoku).
After that we went home and just had a very little quite dinner in peace.

Camel Coat reserved brand Lois Opoku lisforlois
Hi Guys,

How are you? How have you been? I could tell you how crazy it is that it's almost Christmas or how yet another year is almost over or how cold the weather has become. Water is wet. But then again I would rather tell you something you don't already know..
Sometimes I don't have anything to say, nothing to write about to accompany my posts.
Nonetheless I want to share my pictures with you.

A look I shot a couple of weeks back with Lori featuring one of the pieces I picked out from Reserved. Paired with my all time favourite camel coat, my new favourite golden frames and some ankle booties.
All good.

The ICONIC, the every-girl's-dream bag.
The level of sophistication and .
This is a vintage Chanel passed on to generation after generation. And over the years the respect and admiration for a Chanel only grows. I too want to pass on a Chanel to my daughters and their daughters. I want them to feel what it is like to grace yourself with a bag like this.
I suddenly feel especially lady like, empowered, exclusive and extraordinary.

It is amazing what one little bag embossed with a double C can make, how it can have such a strong hold and impact on you. How you suddenly carry yourself in the presence of that sign.
Chanel will always stay magical.
It is the embodiment of iconic.

Levis 700 los Gallery lisforlois
When it comes to jeans Levis is a classic, iconic. A brand you immediately associate with the word 'jeans'. Levis organized a little gallery opening celebrating their 700 jeans line in forms of works of art. All shot by a gifted photographer Stephanie Pfaender. Curated by girls like me - fashion bloggers/influencers. I was lucky to be part of the evening in my Levis 710 and get a glimpse of the photography admits the artists themselves.

It was then I met one of my favorite bloggers I've been following ever since I discovered the bloggersphere: Sabrina of afterDRK. Struck and completely in awe I forgot to ask Sabrina for a selfie, you know as a little memory to keep. But I'll keep the moment as a memory forever.
