STUCK IN A PHASE OF "I HATE MY BLOG.."

Time is a funny thing.
Looking at the time stamp on my latest post. 35 days ago... wow. This is the longest time I've gone without blogging. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen I'm still attending events, still embarking on adventures and little stories, so still a lot of content to blog about. The blank space that has been growing and stretching out uncontrollably here as if exponential, you see, was not due to lack of content. But rather to a sense of my own unhappiness, ever growing dissatisfaction, discontent and finally disaffection with this space.
When there is no progress, no growth (not in terms of followers but rather self growth and in terms quality), no development I feel at unease. Yet time is ticking (way too fast), this space is getting older but it's not growing up. It feels like it's staying an infant child forever, stuck in one developing stage, impossible to advance.
That's what gets me.

WEEK OF GREATNESS

This week was the Week of Greatness at Foot Locker, a very special week for all sneaker enthusiasts out there, because Foot Locker released 50 different style of pairs across the entire week with sneakers and classics from Nike to Adidas to Asics, Reebok and more. For me day 5 (26th November) had the most interesting release - the Nike Flystepper 2k3.
In celebration of the week, Foot Locker sent me a pair of Adidas Sneakers to style up. This is by far the

SEPTEMBER SUMMER

Been enjoying the last couple of days as summer decided to finally make an appearance. It's hard to believe it's October already and I'm turning 21 in 4 days. This year has passed by so quickly. It feels like my last birthday was just a couple of weeks back, but a complete year has passed. A complete year.
University is starting again in a week plus minus a couple of days, but it'd be like it's starting in a few hours given how I perceive time these days. Is it just me or is it like everything is sped up? Life is sped up? It's like life is stuck on rush hour. Like your thumb is stuck on the 4x fast-forward button on the remote control and there is no way to release it.
Time is not what time used to feel like.
This year I'm just gonna go through with uni, go to all classes, write all exams. Get it over with. Before I know it I'll have my bachelor degree in Business IT. It will feel like a few weeks. Life and time is passing me by and I have a hard time making the best out of it. Living in the now. People alway say "Live in the present! Enjoy every Moment"
How do they do it when you've lost complete feel for the measure of time. I for one feel in complete dissolution with time.

L IS FOR LOIS X DESIGNER OUTLET BERLIN: LETS ROCK'N'ROLL

The Designer Outlet Berlin is celebrating its birthday with a birthday week full of surprises and style (think special offers, live concerts and more!). And in all things style, they asked Özi from Fashion Monger, Dustin from Shiggers On Street, Anni from Bildhübsch Blog and me for our expertise and to interpret and come up with a modern Rock'n'Roll party outfit in a blogger challenge for their birthday party. This is the look I created. I chose a marble print shift dress from Mango which I combined with not one but two statement belts, because you know, it's rock'n'roll to go against norms, held together in around my hips. The total gem of this outfit is this stunner of a jacket by True Religion covered with black studs.

A SATURDAY ON A ROOFTOP

I spent Saturday with Mali, Tissi and Joeva at the Blogger Bazaar. The entrance fee of 8€ was way too much, but we kinda hung around until 8 downing as many Ciroc drinks and Haägen Dasz Cookies & Cream as we could and chilled out on the roof top until we made amends that there was no way we could get those 8€ back or make it worthwhile. Kudos to the girls from Blogger Bazaar for organizing everything and making it happen, no doubt, but those 8€ were definitely too much for an entrance fee. Especially if you were planning on going to actually shop there you kinda already left a lot just at the entrance. Nonetheless I had fun with my girls and I was really happy we could convince Mali to waste some cash as well and come hang out with us.

SUNSETS, SAUDADE AND STREET ONE

Sunsets.

Saudade. One of my favorite words I've ever heard of. Just like Serendipity. I used to wonder why my super hot husband Neymar used this word so often on his Instagram along with long messages and pictures of people who I assumed to be dear ones of his. So I googled it and kept that word in my heart ever since. Its meaning so hard to translate but beautiful as the sound of it.
This currently one of my fav T-Shirts and I'm really proud to wear it. Not only because it says Saudade but because it was designed by my friends Desi & Nisi in collaboration with Street One during a recent blogger workshop and sort of press preview. I've been practically living in this T-Shirt. According to comments this shirt is highly in demand and I sincerely hope Street One decides to reproduce some more.

FOREVER 21 PREOPENING BERLIN

On the same night as the Pull&Bear pre opening the Forever 21 preopening took place as well. Good thing was that the two stores are located next each other in the same building, so I was able to hop over from store to store. In fact kept coming back for the Mojitos at Pull&Bear and ended the night with a live performance by LARY over at Forever 21 for the aftershow party. She's full of energy! While eating cake pops, popcorn and mini wraps we were able to get our hair done and even some fancy body art. I decided to get a palm tree across my hand.

MANGO OUTLET

During my summer holidays I visited my Dad in Nürnberg and during one of the days we were strolling around the city center, which reminds so much of an Altstadt, I discovered Mango Outlet. Somewhere in a corner between all the amazing clothes at a freaking-go-crazy-and-buy-everything-discount I found this sweater, hanging there, quietly, subtly, waiting for me to pick it up.
At the cashier desk I found these cateye sunglasses and I had to take them with me as well.
I few days ago I found out that there is a Mango Outlet in Berlin as well, apart from the Mango Outlet at the B5 Outlet Center just outside from Berlin. It's in Steglitz. Next time you visit Hollister be sure to pop into Mango Outlet.

Yesterday I had the honour to attend the Alexander McQueen cocktail reception held at The Corner Berlin. Together with Jasmin I visited the event to enjoy some drinks to music and the 19 piece runway collection that was exhibited in the store in attendance of Sarah Burton. Yes, the creative director of Alexander McQueen was there in flesh. :)

Gestern hatte ich die Ehre die Alexander McQueen Cocktail Rezeption im The Corner Berlin zu besuchen. Zusammen mit Jasmin besuchte ich das Event, um ein Paar Drinks zu Musik und den Anblick der 19-teiligen Runway-Kollektion zu genießen, die dort im Beisein Sarah Burtons ausgestellt wurde.  Ja, die Kreativ-Direktorin Alexander McQueens war höchstpersönlich da.

ANOTHER MANGO STYLENIGHT

We didn't stay long and it wasn't nearly as busy as the Stylenight back in February when Andy from Stylescrapbook came by.

EVOQUE STYLE AWARDS PREVIEW

A little preview of the pictures coming up from the Evoque Style Awards and the reason why I didn't make it to Mango.

Met some lovely people, had great food and sadly I didn't make it to Mango afterward! :( Mission failed. Actually I was about to leave for Mango, perfectly on time (!) when I realized the camera was gone! So my friend and I spent more than an hour searching for the camera. When all hope was lost, heads bowed, mood defleated, ready to go home and weep a girl tipped me on the shoulder and said. "Oh are you looking for a camera? I saw some pictures, I recognize you." and then the magic words: "Here it is!" aaaaaaaaaah I was so over the Moon!
But the funniest part is she was like, "Oh yeah, I took some pictures with it. Hope you don't mind!" Haha! You could have told me my house was on fire at that moment I wouldnt have cared. I was just so relieved to have found it back.

Crazy night.

At that point it wouldn't have made any sense to go to Mango anymore, as it was really late (or should I say early ;) ) and we were just too exhausted from the little shock to jet off to another party.
We chilled a little with our lovely new friends (and had a massive toast on finding of the camera) before heading home.

Tomorrow is my exam 2 of 4 in my jackpot week (irooonyyy!!) - Maths. Already studied in the park.

Ein kleines Preview von die Bilder des Evoque Style Awards und der Grund wieso ich es nicht zu Mango schaffte.

Habe liebe Menschen kennengelernt, leckeres Essen verzehrt und es leider danach nicht zu Mango geschafft! :( Mission failed.
Eigentlich war ich kurz davor zu Mango zu gehen, sogar perfekt in der Zeit (!), als mir auffiel, dass die Kamera fehlte! Also haben ich und meine Freundin mehr als eine Stunde damit verbracht die Kamera zu suchen. Als alle Hoffnung verloren war, Köpfe gesenkt, Stimmung angekackt, tippte mir ein Mädchen auf die Schulter und sagte: "Oh suchst du eine Kamera? Ich hab ein paar Bilder gesehen, ich erkenne dich wieder." Und dann die magischen Worte: "Hier ist sie!" aaaaaaaaaah zu geil!
Aber das witzige war, sie meinte dann so. "Ach ja ich hab ein paar Bilder damit gemacht. Ist doch okay oder?" Haha!
Sie hätte mir in dem Moment erzählen können, dass mein Haus brennt und es wäre mir egal gewesen. Ich war einfach nur erleichtert, die Kamera wieder gefunden zu haben.

Verrückte Nacht.

Zu dem Zeitpunkt hätte es keinen Sinn mehr gemacht zu Mango zu gehen, da es schon sehr spät war (oder soll ich sagen früh? ;) ) und wir waren einfach zu kaputt von dem kleinen Schock nochmal auf eine weitere Party zu düsen. 

Stattdessen haben wir mit unseren lieben neuen Freunden gechillt (und nochmal so richitg angestossen auf das Wiederfinden der Kamera) bevor es nach Hause ging.

Morgen gehts dann an die 2. Klausur aus 4 in meiner Jackpot Woche (IRONIE!!) - Mathe. Hab auch schon im Park geübt.

MANGOES

My mom bought Ghana mangoes from the afro shop today. They are much smaller than regular mangoes you buy and they are yellow and taste very sweet. I'm a big fan of Mangoes. They are my favorite fruits.
And I got an invitation to the Mango Store opening in Berlin from Mango today. Yes, they will be opening one more store here :) Don't know this day has been a Mango filled day! :D
Problem though is, it's on the same day as the Evoque Style Awards. I'll be attending both Parties. I wasn't called like Superman's girlfriend, Lois Lane, for no reason!
I'll be crashing both and after all people keep saying "Never say never" ;) I'm gonna make the impossible happen, be in two places at once. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (anyone else seen the latest How I met your mother episode?^^) Although it would have been much easier, if I had a time stopping/turning back stone like Hermoine Granger.
The Mango Party starts 2 hours later and the Parties' locations are only 15 mins separated from each other! Jaaackpot :)


Ps.: (My mom didnt actually call me like that cause she loved Superman xD I don't even think she has a clue who superman is xD)

Meine Mutter hat heute Ghana Mangos aus dem Afroshop mitgebracht. Sie sind viel kleiner als die normalen Mangos und sie sind gelb und schmecken sehr süß. Ich bin ein großer Fan von Mangos. Sie sind meine Lieblingsfrüchte.
Und ich habe eine Einladung zur Mango Store Eröffnung in Berlin von Mango bekommen. Ja, sie eröffnen noch einen weiteren store hier.(Wer noch ein Ticket ergattern möchte, kann beim Josie_loves Gewinnspiel von der lieben Sarah mitmachen. Aber seid schnell. Morgen ist der letzte Tag!). Ich weiß nicht wieso es ein so  Mango gefüllter Tag war! :D
Problem ist aber sie ist am selben Tag wie die Evoque Style Awards. Ich werde beide Parties besuchen. Ich wurde ja nicht umsonst wie Supermans Freundin, Lois Lane, benannt!
Ich werde beide Parties crashen und außerdem sagt man nicht immer: "Sage niemals niemals"? ;) Ich werde das Unmögliche schaffen, in zwei Orten zur gleichen Zeit sein. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (Hat irgendjemand auch schon die neue How I met your Mother Folge gesehen?^^ Btw, was sagt Barney denn bitte auf Deutsch?) Obwohl, es wäre ja doch viel einfacher mit einem Zeit stoppenden/zurückdrehenden Stein wie der von Hermine Granger.
Die Mango Party fängt 2 Stunden später an. Und die Locations der Parties sind nur 15 min von einander entfernt! Jaaackpot :)

Last Night I went to the Glamour & Mango Stylenight event with my friend Lexia and Nisi and Chi. I also met some new lovely bloggers from Berlin. Andy was around too, she was super nice. Had a little chat with her whiles she was busy styling others.
Us lucky girls (and women and men ) had the privilege to shop the new collection with 30% off to loud music, enjoy some makeover from Artdeco and eat ice cream from Häagen Dazs with drinks as much as the heart desired. People, we all know Häagen Dasz is good, but Strawberry Shortcake from Häagen Dasz is heaven! My new flavour love. :) What's your fav flavour?
It was pretty crowded, especially in the line. But us girls had a lovely time.
There was a little Goodie Bag  from Mango with a lipgloss from Artdeco and a keyholder from Jules Mumm. Sadly the Artdeco lipgloss color is not made for me.

Gestern Abend bin ich zur Glamour & Mango Stylenight mit meiner Freundin Lexia und Nisi und Chi gegangen. Ich habe auch neue liebe Blogger aus Berlin getroffen. Andy war auch da, sie war super lieb. Hab etwas mit ihr geredet während sie fleißig andere stylte.
Wir glücklichen Mädchen (und Frauen und Männer) hatten das Privileg, die neue Kollektion mit 30% Rabatt zur lauten Musik zu shoppen, ein Makeover von Artdeco und Eis von Häagen Dazs mit Getränken zu genießen, so viel, wie das Herz begehrte. Leute, wir wissen alle wie gut Häagen Dazs Eis ist, aber Strawberry Shortcake von Häagen Dazs ist ein Traum!
Meine neue Lieblingssorte :) Was ist eure Lieblingssorte?
Es war ziemlich voll, besonders in der Schlange. Aber wir Mädchen hatten eine super Zeit.
Es gab auch eine Goodie Bag von Mango mit einem Lipgloss von Artdeco und ein Schlüsselanhänger von Jules Mumm. Leider ist die Lipglossfarbe nicht für mich geschaffen.
Vielleicht mach ich ja bald ein kleines Gewinnspiel... ;)

GRAZIA AND GLAMOUR STYLENIGHT EVENTS

Tonight was the GRAZIA Stylenight event with P&C. I was originally planning on going there with Nisi and Chi. But we ended up not going because of the chaos for the big deal confirmation mail created by GRAZIA.

Somehow Nisi and Chi didn't get the confirmation mail. I did but I must have deleted it admidst all the spam and so I contacted GRAZIA the day before the event asking if it was much of a problem showing up without the printed version of the mail. Honestly, I wouldnt have noticed my mail missing, if I didn't wake up thinking, "Shit is the event today or tomorrow?!". I do this kinda stuff 2 minutes before my bus comes while I'm already 20 minutes late xD. L is for Last-Minute :P

I wrote to them on Facebook, Twitter & their e-mail. On Facebook they told me to write them an e-mail with my data. I did and never got an answer. Nisi did, but they kept answering with stuff like "Places are limited bla bla bla" Yeah, that wasn't the question. That's really poor service. Like really poor.

So we did lose interrest in going. And actually I wasnt feeling to brilliant either.

Nevermind! I'm going to Glamour Shopping event with MANGO! Whoop ! Whoop! My favourite magazine, my favourite shop. And we dont need to print a stupid confirmation letter. They've got the guestlist. ;)

Heute war die Stylenight mit GRAZIA und P&C. Eigentlich wollte Nisi, Chi und ich zusammen hingehen, aber haben es uns dann doch nicht angetan mit dem ganzen Rummel  von GRAZIA um die so wichtigen Bestätigungsmails.

Irgendwie haben Nisi und Chi keine Mail bekommen. Ich hatte zwar eine, aber die muss ich mit dem ganzen Spam gelöscht haben. Ich habe dann Grazia ein Tag vor dem Event gefragt ob es denn so schlimm ist ohne der ausgedruckten Version zu kommen. Ehrlich gesagt wäre mir das auch gar nicht aufgefallen, wäre ich nicht mit dem Gedanken aufgewacht, "Scheiße ist das Event morgen oder heute?!" Ich drucke so was immer 2 Minuten bevor mein Bus kommt, während ich eh schon 20 Minuten zu spät bin aus xD L is for Last-Minute :P

Ich habe ihnen auf Facebook, twitter und an ihre Mail geschrieben. Auf Facebook haben die mir gesagt, ich solle nocheinmal eine E-mail mit meinen Daten schicken. Ich habe nie eine Antwort erhalten. Nisi schon, aber die haben immer so was gesagt von wegen "Plätze sind begrenzt bla bla bla" Ja ach, war ja auch nicht die Frage. Armes Service. Sehr armes service.

Wir haben dann unser Interesse verloren. Und ehrlich gesagt gings mir nicht so brilliant.

Scheiß drauf! Wir gehen zum Glamour Event mit MANGO! Whoop! Whoop! My Lieblingsmagazin. Mein Lieblingsshop. Und wir müssen diesen dummen Brief auch nicht ausdrucken. Die haben eine Gästeliste ;)

First off all I LOVE this pants, I really do. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it at Mango. But lets be rational:
Zu allererst, ich liebe diese Hose, wirklich. Ich habe mich sofort in sie verliebt, als ich sie bei Mango hängen sah. Aber lasst uns vernünftig sein:


♥The pants look shit on me. No seriously, it looks like a potato sack. Haha! Damn.
Die Hose sieht scheiße aus an mir. Nein im Ernst, sieht aus wie ein Kartoffelsack. Haha! Maannn.


♥Yes it is the same shorts from the post before, but there I managed to pull it off. Infact it's the volumnious shoulders of the striped top that distract from how baggy the pants are on me. And also the angles I took in the photos do the pants better.
Ja es ist die selbe Shorts vom Post davor, aber da hab ich es geschafft damit durchzukommen. Ehrlich gesagt, sind es die voluminösen Schultern meines gestreiften Tops, die von der Baggy-heit der Hose an mir ablenken. Außerdem tuen die Winkel in den Bildern der Hose gut.

Aber niemand wird mich aus diesen Winkeln auf der Straße anschauen. Sie werden die nackte Wahrheit sehen. Und die nackte Wahrheit ist, so sehr ich diese Hose auch liebe und haben will, ich seh kacke aus darin.


♥I love the detail of the pants. Especially the top part above the belt. The ruffles really got me. Dream Pants. And also the belt is really cute. I could remove it and also use it on something else.
Ich liebe die Details der Hose, besonders der obere Teil über dem Gürtel. Die Ruffles haben es mir angetan. Traumhose. Und der Gürtel ist echt süß. Ich könnte ihn nach belieben auch ab machen und wo anderes benutzen.


♥When wearing it with a simple top/singlet/ T-shirt you saw how bad it looked on me. I showed it to my little brother and he was like: "Damn, that's ugly." With the red top: "Really cool. The pants are actually really nice. Looks good on you" (yesss!) With a singlet: "Shite.." :(
Wenn  man ein einfaches Top/ T-shirt damit trägt, sieht man wie schlecht sie bei mir aussieht. Ich hab es meinem kleinen Bruder gezeigt und er war so: "Man ist das hässlich." Mit dem roten Top: "Voll cool. Die Hose ist eigentlich voll schön. Sieht gute bei dir aus" (jaaaa!) Mit einem normalem Top: "Scheiße..." :(


♥I hate myself for not being able to wear them. I'd take a smaller size, but this already is a XS. (I wonder how the skinny girls in this world are to wear it?) I mean I have big thighs and lots a junk in my trunk. I should be able to fill it. But I don't. arrrggh! It still hangs loose.
Ich hasse mich dafür, dass ich die Hose nicht tragen kann. Ich würde eine kleinere Größe nehmen, aber das hier ist schon eine XS. (Ich frage mich wie die dünnen Mädchen dieser Welt das tragen sollen?) Ich meine ich hab große Oberschenkel und viel Junk in my Trunk. Ich sollte da rein passen. Tu ich aber nicht. arrrggh! Sie hängt immer noch locker.

Sie haben nur 13€(!) gekostet. Und ich wollte schon immer mal so eine Hose in diesem Style und Material haben. Das ist die perfekte Hose. Sie ist sogar ziemlich gemütlich.


Being reasonable I Mit Vernunft:

I've thought I'll return the pants and wait for the one that will be a match made in heaven for me. One that will fit me perfectly. Ofcourse I will probably never find a deal as perfect as this, but what is a piece that can be worn with only one and the same thing? If I had atleast 1 o 2 more tops of this sort, that distract from the pants, I'd keep it forever and ever, because I could always change the way I'd accessorize it. But imagine: this pants ALWAYS with that red top. Kinda boring, no matter how wildly I change the accessorize/shoes.
Not blaming it on the pants though.
Ich überlege, ob ich die Hose zurückbringe und auf die warte, die wie für mich gemacht ist, eine die mir perfekt passen wird. Natürlich werde ich sie nicht wieder zu so einem guten Preis finden, aber was ist ein Teil, dass man nur mit einer und der selben Sache tragen kann? Hätte ich wenigstens 1 oder 2 mehr Tops wie dieses, dass von der Hose ablenkt, würde ich sie für immer und ewig behalten, weil ich das Accessorizen immer ändern könnte. Aber stell dir vor: diese Hose IMMER mit dem roten Top. Irgendwie langweilig, egal wie wild sich die Accessoires/Schuhe ändern.
Ich gebe der Hose aber keine Schuld.

So I'm tending more to return. (all that bla bla for just one sentence xD) I still would like to hear your opinion. Vote :) :

Ich finde ihr solltet die Hose anprobieren, wenn sie euch gefällt, weil sie einfach eine total schöne Shorts ist und euch wahrscheinlich viel besser passen wird als mir -.- Und 13€ ist ein toller Preis. Könnte nicht besser sein. Sagt mir bescheid, wenn euch sie steht. ^^
